More SELF BELIEF, less CHAOS

Believing in one self is one of the crucial ingredients to success. To gain more self belief you must eliminate doubt and ignore those voices that tell you “you can’t” wether those voices are from the person standing next to you or inside your head. Make a conscious decision to believe in yourself. It may be a forced habit sometimes but you’ll get use to it.

Eliminating chaos in everyday life requires a few things. First you must plan ahead as much as possible. Next, you have to learn to say NO to things and thoughts. Last but not least, you need clarity and order. Clean your desk before working on it, make appointment before meeting someone, decide which order you’ll do the tasks ahead. Chaos is an energy-vacuum you must avoid.

More BALANCE, less DISORGANIZED

A balanced life is a good life, training requires rest time, food should be consumed in a good balance of nutrients and quantity ect. You must also constantly remind yourself to find balance between your inner and outer life. Don’t forget to nourish the mind and your soul equally as much as your body. Meditate, read and work out in a good balanced way.

Organising also means prioritising right. Taking 10 minutes on Sunday night to organize the week and then reorganize in start of each day makes better efficiency and less energy waisted.

More RESPONSIBLE, less FEAR

Taking responsibility for ones actions, thoughts and words is a big part of growing up and maturing. The person that grow most successful in life all have in common that they can in some area hold more responsibility than others. Claiming that someone else is responsible for your position is giving them the power of your life. Own you position, take responsibility, control your life.

Fear is something we must always face. This can be the most powerful feeling in our lives but it must not control you. Your most important moments in life will include fear without doubt. If fear controls your actions, it will be the wrong decision you take.

More CERTAINTY, less STUBBORN

Showing certainty in decisions and yet at the same time not be stubborn can be a fine line. I guess taking all situations into consideration, also admit that ones opinion might not be the most helpful one, could make a certain decision not stubborn.

In a leadership role certainty is very important. Making fast and clear decisions and display a future vision to aim for is important. Mixing an open mind and the fact that goals may change on the path to them makes leader more adaptable to the environment and less stubborn.

More SHARING, less CARELESSNESS

Sharing is caring, therefore by NOT sharing you’re NOT caring. You need to show you care for someone or something by sharing some part of you wether that is time, money or patience.

Choosing what to spend your time, money and patience on requires you to prioritise your life correctly. Stephen R. Covey said it right in his Seven Habits book, you must realize what’s most important to you and prioritise your life accordingly.

More GENEROUS, less ASUMING

Tony Robbins says “The secret to living is giving”. What he means is that the more we give the more we can receive  Jim Rohn describes it like we are a glass that can be filled up endlessly as long as we pour some out first and furthermore he says that our glass grows bigger every time so it can receive and pour ever bigger quantities.

Making assumptions can be dangerous. Whenever we asume something we cannot be sure of the result. If you make a soup for example you can’t know if you should add salt if you don’t taste it. Same goes for human relationships, you can’t know you have mustard on you cheek if nobody tells you and just asumes you know about it. Ask questions, speak up, share and speak your mind. Assuming causes doubt and wrongful decisions and can build up to great arguments and conflicts.

More FUN, less HESITATION

Being fun and having fun are not the same thing. The opposite of being fun is being bored while the opposite of having fun is simply not having fun. Therefore you can be bored (or even boring) and still have fun. Fun is not exclusive to anyone and it’s unlimited. Same applies to other states of being, you can be hurt, sad, tired, happy or emotional but you can still have fun.

Trying to develop certainty enough to never hesitate on important decisions is a difficult task. A captain of a ship must make clear-cut decisions in dangerous situations is a job requirement, hesitation is not even an option. Life becomes so much more simple if there’s no room for doubt. Doubt is an energy vacuum.

More LAUGHTER, less DELAYING

Laughter heals the soul they say. Sometimes we take things to serious and we miss the fun side of things. Everything in life has two sides according to yin and yang, you choose which side you prefer to view them from, not the other way around.

Delaying things can burden the soul and really decrease the quality of your life. It’s better to decide not to do something than overplan and end up pushing tasks forward. A good habit in the beginning of each day is to choose only a few things you know you’ll be able to accomplish in that day and actually finish them than having too many things planned and and end the day feeling disappointed. Sometimes less is more.
